Hoping to hit 85 Mining for Mining SOTW, but will be aiming for 90 Mining, which is what I have banked in Dynamite currently
Will be doing Runecraft in Mining breaks to hit 80 for 80+ stats

My current goals:
99 Mining, 99 Ranged, 99 Magic in random order aswell as 90+ Stats
Already got 10 Skills at 90+, so only 13 to go!
Smithing will come naturally as I get Gold ores from Mining, Prayer will be the worst however xD Need 8300 Dragon Bones for 90 Prayer

Goal: 90 Ranged and 90 Mining

I got a bit busy IRL so didn't mine as much as I wanted, but I did get SOME levels



Slowly but surely heading toward 90 Mining, at 85 Mining I will probably take a break from Mining to process some of the ores which should get me 90 Smithing ^_^
Also due to being busy IRL I have basically been ranging in AFK NMZ, which is honestly great because I strongly dislike ranged xD
Currently I am 89 Ranged, 1 lvl from another 90+ Skill
Depending on how busy I will be, I may get 99 by christmas, since this is what I do when I do homework and read(for fun), it adds up!
9 days ago I was Lvl 81 Ranged, just to show how far I have gotten

90 Ranged and Mining may be the goal, but I will train other skills on the side, like Smithing or whatever SOTW end up being

Doing it for both the ores and the xp xD
The ores will get me to 99 Smithing and the xp is 65-70k xp/h, over double the amount you get in Motherlode Mine lol

Goal: 90 Mining and 90 Woodcutting

90 Ranged has been replaced by Woodcutting as a goal for a very simple reason:

My 11th 90+ skill secured

Now the goal is 90 Mining and 90 Woodcutting, the reasoning for these specific ones are:
Mining: Should give me ores for like 92 Smithing and I always wanted to be high Mining on the Iron lol. Also Smithing will fund 90 Fletching
Woodcutting: Bit more complicated reason, considering I want 90 Woodcutting so that I can easier get 90 Prayer!

Normally Prayer and Woodcutting would have absolutely nothing to do with eachother lol
But back in January the OSRS Team introduced a very special update, which was shown very easily in Swampletics episodes
The updated Shade Catacombs!

99 Prayer is just going to suck almost as much as Herblore, if not worse lol. The training itself is max 50 hours from 80-99.. but it is the bone gathering that will suck hardcore, the reason is because I can maybe kill 100-120 Blue Dragons per hour, and for 99, after I have used all bones and Ensouled Heads I already have, I would need 38.000 Dragon Bones ... that is 320-380 hours of killing Blue Dragons lol
Which in theory makes Prayer 30k xp/h aka it is slower than Runecrafting!

So honestly I will almost take any upgrade I can get, hence the Shade Catacombs new loot:

The Zealot Robes!
The Zealot Robes have the effect of 5% chance of saving a bone/ensouled head. Aka like 10% of Chaos Altar effect. It stacks with Chaos Altar too, for the normal irons out there

5% may not seem like alot, but 5% of 38.000 is approx 2000, which is around 20 hours of Blue Dragon Killing, so as long as I can get this set before 20 hours, I am saving time ! Also I think this activity is way more fun than blue dragon grinding, so win-win
For 85-90 Prayer I only save 400 bones, but that is still 2-4 hours of blue dragons I dont have to do!

They are obtained from Gold Chests and the fastest method of using those is with Redwood Pyre Logs... aka 90 Woodcutting! Hence why Woodcutting is the goal
The Redwood Pyre Logs ALWAYS give a gold key, and according to wiki on average I need 512 gold keys for the entire set.
So I would need 512 Redwood Logs, which would suck with boosting lol

So that is my current grind

Nice one Kan! Ever since we talked about Blast Mine I've been thinking about doing it to source my ores for the smithing grind. I tried out VM and it seems very relaxed and the XP is great, but Blast Mine has very similar XP and you get great smithing supplies. The only downside is having to constantly process your ores so that you can fund more dynamite. I'll have to think about it before I head for 99 mining.

Otherwise grats on #11 The shades rework is actually really cool and the new robes are quite neat especially for hardcores. As a bonus, 90 woodcutting unlocks the best content in the game!

I have personally not done Volcanic Mine, I prefer non-dangerous skilling lol

I love doing it, especially if it can cause me to save time on the super annoying skills xD

Side benefit is the Fossils, they can be enriched for Prayer XP aka even LESS dragon bones needed ^^

Rambling Corner:

So I have been Woodcutting at Sulliusceps, and I have been getting tons of fossils, so I started doing some testing and math calculations.
And I have concluded that I on average every 100k Woodcutting XP obtain Fossils that would give 20k Prayer XP if I turned them into Enriched Bones.
Originally my plan for Woodcutting was 90-99 at Redwoods, but now... if I did it at Sulliusceps, I would obtain 1.750.000 XP for Prayer due to the Fossils.. that is CRAZY amount of XP
It is the same XP as 7000 Dragon Bones.. which would take me 50 hours to gather!
Also Sulliusceps is better xp/h than redwoods, 80-90k xp/h vs redwoods 65k xp/h.

So not only is it faster 99 Woodcutting, it would also make Prayer become 188 hours of bone gathering..instead of 238 hours.
Prayer is still gonna suck! BUT this Woodcutting method basically cuts off 20% of the Bone Gathering, which is huge

Current Prayer Data and a view on how I do my planning for certain skills xD


So I can at least guarantee Prayer will be a slow one and will happen AFTER Hunter and Woodcutting xD

I have banked 300x sacred oil and 100 Urium Remains, next step is 90 Woodcutting and then get 100 redwood logs and try to get the gold locks so I can get the gold coffin so I can kill Urium faster xD

You're still going crazy at some of the goals I must say :p Gz once again and are you going to do prayer once you get the zealot robes?

Yeh got some interesting grinds atm

I plan to empty my bank for ensouled heads/bones when I got the Zealot, just to see how far it takes me
And then switch to 90 Mining goal xD

I am still working on Zealot, so far I have 3/4 Pieces, but I have been gathering other stuff too!

I got the Gold Locks to create the Golden Coffin:

It allows my trips of killing shades to be 52 remains per trip instead of 24!

I also got the Swampbark and Bloodbark books for unlocking

I also keep forgetting to exchange bones to crushed bones and slime at Robin, finally remembered it 2 days in a row lol
