Fun Adventures and Progress with HCIM Purple Dude ^_^

Goal: 97 Slayer

Been grinding Slayer, logged off earlier being 8k away from 97, on purpose, I find it more motivating to continue Slaying if I start the day off with a level, rather than ending with a level and starting next day with a horrifying new level xD

Got my 4th piece and 3rd unique piece of Dusk

Also completed a goal

Considering 2277 total is approx 299M XP I am technically half way to max

I have been super unlucky with Bursting Tasks, my last 45 tasks have been without any burst, because the one time I get Abyss Demons, they are in Slayer Tower lol and no dusties or jellies in sight either....
BUT! Today I actually got 3 Burst tasks! That hit me like water in a dry heat, giving me enough xp to be 10 alchs from a magic lvl and with that I am "closer" to 99 Magic lol


A bit unsure on how I wanna level ranged.. Magic takes care of itself through Bursting/Alching.. I am considering maybe ranging on my bloodveld tasks both outside and inside Catacombs, that should at the very least force my Ranged up into the 90s by the time I am 99 Slayer lol
Having no Blowpipe can be felt xD

Ranging bloodvelds in catacombs sometimes gets annoying with keeping them away from the safespot.

I finally got 97 Slayer, and am now on the worst level ever


Through slayer and farming(Celastrus) I have gathered alot of battlestaves, finally decided to make them into fire battlestaves. Which gave me 800 Fire Bstaves worth 7.4M in alchs lol



I also want to slowly make my way toward 85 Crafting, so I can boost for Fury, and to inspire myself a bit I decided to buy the Onyx finally with Chaos from Barrows

Now I just need 85 xD

Felt like burning some cash, slowly but surely making my way to being able to use these:




I have also been sitting at 89 Cooking ever since I did Varrock Elite Diary, and thought.. may aswell!

Have also during slayer been stacking my Dark Totems, felt like using a bunch of them




And when I returned to Slayer, I was rewarded with a Magic Lvl


At around 11m XP I decided to stop using my Brimstone Keys, so I plan to stack them up until I am 10k away from 99 Slayer, where I have postponed doing a miniquest that gives a 10k XP Lamp, so I will use the keys there.. however many I end up with ^^

Got my 22nd 80+ Skill, only Runecrafting left, but that is for after Slayer lol


And one more for Fury



Depending on how busy my weekend is going to be, I may get 98 Slayer sunday
Either case I want to aim for 99 this month
After Slayer I will enjoy skills with high xp/h and shoot up in total levels lol

Kinda crazy you're maxed combat before even getting a fury amulet.

Have you already thought what you'll do next, slayer lvl's come with combat but other skills may require some more grinding.

After Slayer I will get my Runecraft to 80 just so I can brag about having 80+ Stats
And then I have several skills I want to train.
My original plan for 99s was:

99 Agility -> 99 Slayer alongside 99 Str/Att/Def -> 99 Mining -> 99 Runecrafting

I did get Agility first, due to an Impulse/Contracts I got Firemaking and Farming before Slayer.
But either case I plan to aim for 99 Mining, by first mining all the sandstone I need for 99 Crafting and then doing Blast Mining.
I will however be leveling Smithing alongside Mining, since 1 dynamite costs 1200 gp on average, meaning I need a total of 43M pure cash, hence I will need to process the ores and alch the results, so naturally Smithing will be in the late 90s by the time I am done Mining.. and then I may aswell take it to 99 lol.

Runecrafting after mining is generally because I want to take the slow skills first, Agility, Slayer, Mining and Runecraft are all below 70k xp/h, Slayer even being 22k xp/h and Runecraft being 35k xp/h.. hence since my aim always has been max, I don't wanna save a slow skill for last lol

Of course there will most likely be other 99s sprinkled in between 99 Mining and Runecrafting, since I cannot focus on 1 skill for months, I need some variation lol.
The only plan I have for last skills are: Prayer, Fletching, Herblore and Cooking.. one of these 4 will be my last 99.
Cooking because after Lvl 90 I have nothing more to unlock
Fletching because it is super expensive and I can only truly afford it AFTER 99 Runecrafting lol
Prayer because after Slayer I will at most have 85 banked, meaning I will need 38.500 Dragon Bones.. that I will need to grind Blue Dragons for lol, I sometimes take a small trip and gather 500 at a time, but either way.. Prayer is gonna suck lol
Herblore is annoying too, I will need to kill Kalphite Queen and survive for Desert Hard Diary so I can make Unfinished Potions noted, and I will want the best odds possible, so I will be 99 Magic and Ranged before attempting it and be sure my internet connection is good, have Brews, Anglerfish, will be training on my Alt Kaninka with the same gear Purple Dude has... either way, Herblore is not on my priorities. Heck I may even decide KQ isnt worth it and take twice as long to 99 lol

Currently I have 92 Crafting, 90 Construction, 90 Mining banked

So I guess.. the short of it is... I got lots of plans for after Slayer

Honestly, I am doing pretty good on Slayer, I am burning Slayer Points and money(for runes) like crazy, basically only during Barrage Tasks, Bloodvelds and Catacomb Tasks where I use prayer and piety lol.
I will soon be forced to take 9 Turael tasks followed by Konar, aka Point boosting xD
But it is on purpose, to make my 22k xp/h turn into 35-40k xp/h, making the 99 come faster
And as you can see, it is going well, both for Slayer AND Magic


Also finally got 94, so no longer have to use boost to do the Barrage


According to my guesstimations, I should be 97 Magic when I am 99 Slayer.. and then I may just buy tons of Barrage or Burst Runes and kill Nechryals in Catacombs for 99 Magic lol

94 Magic also gave me this little milestone:


So currently, on the hardcore Slay grind, and so far the drops are paying for the runes costs, but in worst case scenario, I just need to get 89 Smithing, because I got 1000 Runite Bars, which can turn into 1000 Rune Swords = 12.5M in alchs

Pregrats you're basically already there Super weird to me to get 99 slayer before mage but I guess that must be because you did a bunch of melee slayer with your att xp? Either way with barrage that magic is going to be a breeze!

Yeh I was afraid of Bursting Greater Nechryael, so I melee'd them. I bursted them in the last 2 Lvls, except I hopped world whenever I got the Superior one, since thats a recipe for death to fight it lol.
And panic teleported whenever I accidentally attacked it xD

Will probably get the rest of magic then I go for 99 Construction due to Plank Making
