Introducing myself :) also asking some Questions as a non-member
Hello, I used to play Runescape back when it first came out in 2001. I stopped around 2008 or so but have been on and off since then. I never played much as a member I think all together probably have about a month played as a member. I don't have a lot of time these days since I am a single dad but decided to come back when I heard a second league was incoming! My whole goal for this league is to 99 in as many skills as possible and learn how slayer and bosses work and be able to consistently farm Cerberus so I can start doing that when league ends. I want that hell puppy.
I was surprised when one of my accounts was still around and that I remember the password. I have my 60 melee stats and most base 50s for f2p skills and have just today started hunter. Does anyone have any advice like specific quests or gear to practice acquiring before league that I will need for Cerberus? I was planning on Kandarin first for waterfall, then Asgarnia and finally Freminnick although I am not dead set on the last one. Also planned on relic 3 for those extra levels. Are there any member must haves that I should be aware of to make all this a better experience on me? I know I will get side tracked with quests and diaries with all this new content I've never played and that's ok with me. As long as I can kill Cerberus a few times by the end to know what's coming for me outside seasons everything else is just for fun!
Edit: One other thing I want to do is work on my POH so I can learn how I want to set that up and not waste resources after league.

Hey ZombineRythin,
Thanks for the intro. Seen you in the cc a couple of times - glad you made it on here.
I don't really have any knowledge of the upcoming league and don't plan on playing this time around, so I won't comment on that. I know several clannies will be though, so hopefully one of them can share their research with you.
See you soon, and best wishes on the upcoming league

Hey dude, welcome to the offsite. Glad you've been enjoying the CC. I've been enjoying Cerb quite a bit myself lately. Hated it at first, but the ranged (blowpipe + spectral/dragon knives) method has really clicked with me for some reason. Hoping I'm able to stick with it long enough to get the pet as well
We have some super knowledgeable League-heads in the CC that should be able to help. @DabbingBrb hovered somewhere near the top 100 for a good while during Twisted. He might have some good insights for you. We also have the #league-talk channel on our Discord Server, if you'd like to give that a shot. I don't know anything about it myself, but I guarantee you'll get the help you're after if you use either of those resources.

Welcome man! Can I call you Zombie? Nice to hear we have others interested in Leagues. Syllabic might have talked me up from last league but I will be nowhere near as knowledgeable or dedicated this time. 2 months of straight grinding can wear you down
Happy to answer any questions you might have! I hope to see you in the clan and in league

Hi ZombineRythin,
Welcome back to RuneScape and to the clan.
I'm fairly new to the clan myself but in the time I've been here I've found everyone to be helpful and friendly. I wasn't playing OSRS regularly when Twisted League was going on but there are probably people in the clan who can give you advice.
Good luck on your goals!

hello!
welcome back to osrs I'm also really excited for league to start, and syll is right that there's a lot of info already in the discord league channel, so might help to start there and then we can help with any questions you might have!
I also just recently started doing cerb, and while it's a big learning curve, it definitely grows on you.
happy pet hunting!

Welcome to the CC dude! hope the new league is a blast for ya!
for cerb, a thing that i like to use there is a crystal halberd, that you can get after doing the hard western province diary. maybe you can take a look at that one? also, 75-80 agility is a game changer for your runs, as it cuts the running down significantly. that shortcut is a godsend, especially when learning and teleporting out a lot.
i hope we can help you with whatever advice you need here!
