"account recovery" and "password reset" emails are phishing links

There's been a wave of emails sent out by what seems to be the official Jagex email address. This email address is faked and is an attempt by hackers to get your information.

If you do feel you need to check your account or change your password, never click a link in an email, always browse to secure.runescape.com and verify that your connection is secure by following the instructions in the above link

I highly recommend using Gmail as a primary email. Its spam protection is far superior to other email hosts such as Outlook/Hotmail.

another good tip is 2 delete all runescape related mail you get and only using jagexs officials emails when u log onto osrs account to check your details. i normally do this to reduce me clicking any phisin site
