Goals for.... Master clue?!?

Howdy clannies! So the other day I finished a hard clue with only a 150k loot and a master clue with it. I got excited and was ready to start it. I open it and was slightly disappointed... The very first step? I need a fire cape and guess what? This noob doesn't have one!

For the past few months I've been aimlessly running quests and jumping from skill to skill, but I'm determined to get this clue and more importantly that fire cape! Currently I don't have the stats or the gear for a deep Jad run...

I know range is the way to go and at the time of this post I have 67 defense and 64 range and my goal is to get 70 defense and 75 range and a shiny new blowpipe to go with it.

I'll be running slayer tasks to get my levels and I'll be posting any interesting loot I might get from the tasks along the way! Any tips and tricks for my mini journey are more than welcome!

Currently need full prospector and 85 mining for rune ore.
82/85 mining. So I cheated and used d pick special lol

Howdy Almasi,

I think 70 Defence and 75 Ranged with a Blowpipe are perfect for the Fight Caves. When I attempted the Fight Caves, I had 70 Defence and 71 Ranged, using only a rune crossbow with broad bolts. It took me just over 2 hours to complete it my first time around, so don't be afraid to take your time with it. The gear I used was Verac's helm, Blessed D'hide body, Verac's plateskirt, and Snakeskin boots.

I'm more than happy to buy that gear for you to use. Add me in-game and I'll get you sorted!

Slayer training to get those levels are a really good way to get there. Keep it up and you'll get the Fire Cape in no time.

Finally done! Got 75 range and 70 defense! Going to watch a few guides and will attempt to take down Jad in the next couple of days. This is something that I never even tried on RS3 so personally it's a HUGE deal!

Taking another break to make some money for bonds. Think a break would be a good thing. 3 losses and 2 of them my fault smh...

sometimes a break is the best thing! good on you. ive tried the sotf boss i don't know how many times and this is my 3rd break now So coming back when you are excited to give it the effort it needs again is a good thing. in the meantime, have fun making money for bonds

And after all that... Clue reward was 420k with no uniques. Disappointing reward yet still incredibly satisfying
