So long, and thanks for all the fish!!

Hey guys,

Today I made a decision that's been a while in coming: I'm quitting OSRS and making it as difficult as possible for myself to ever recover my account.

This isn't the first time I've had to take this step, but it's the first time in many years. MMOs are an addiction risk for me, and some 10 years before I came back to OSRS I basically promised myself to never touch one again. I broke that promise out of a sense of nostalgia and in the belief that as an adult I'd be able to keep control and manage my time in a healthy way. I now have to acknowledge that I can't keep control any better than I could as a teenager. As wonderful as you all are (very!!! really I love this clan ) I know myself well enough to be aware that I can't play an MMO purely for the friends I've made online. If I keep the account I will sooner or later start prioritizing in-game progress over real-life obligations again. I have a good life and I want to keep it, so this has to be goodbye.
