Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!
I played RuneScape very briefly when I was much younger, I remember being helped to do Cook's Assistant by another player but couldn't really get into it at the time. Many years later and I've picked the game up again and I'm loving it! It's funny playing it without the nostalgia that I know a lot of people have for it.
I haven't joined a clan before but OSRS Advice seems like a great community

Welcome to the clan! I only ever played as an adult so no nostalgia for me either. I need a different excuse for why I spend so long on here lol

Welcome! It's great to see people come to Oldschool who didn't play a bunch back in the day, proves the game's appeal outside of just nostalgia. You certainly did find a swell community, I look forward to seeing you around!

I hear about people playing the game for the first time as an adult every so often. Usually because of its semi-recent inclusion on mobile. I probably wouldn't bother nowadays if I hadn't played so much as a kid, but I'm glad it's still got the kind of appeal a game needs to bring in fresh players. Wouldn't last very long without it
