Hey you guys, nice to meetcha!

Aaaaaaaaand hello! I'm Daniel (FunknSpunk) and you can call me whatever you prefer. I'm almost 25 and hailing from Utah, USA. And it's been a hot minute since I've played OSRS! I honestly remember 2007 pretty much being the last time I played, but I'm back for the experience since it's a great nostalgic game.

I'm hoping that by joining the clan I can participate and make friends, as well as contribute at some point when I'm a little higher than just level 3! I can't decide what else to add here haha...

Oh so I came across OSRS Advice by just browsing clan posts! I think I just googled osrs clan chats because I knew the experience would be more fun that way, but I didn't realize that osrs has actual clan features now and has room for well-established clans. After l read the advertising forum post, I wanted to join Advice immediately since it's the mature and friendly atmosphere I usually shoot for.

Uhhh...since I'm brand new again I'll probably just stick to the optimal quest guide until I finish all the quests! I know that helps a lot in the beginning. Buuuut I'll probably just use it to tell me which quests to do in what order, but do the actual quests myself so I can feel the original frustration that comes about not knowing any of the puzzles yourself haha!

Oh! I guess I did already mention the level 3 bit. Well...I suppose that's it! I'll be in clan chat whenever I'm logged on, plus I'm on the Discord as well already, so shoot me a message if you'd like! I'd love a PvE buddy (or is it called PvM?) Thank you!

Hey Daniel, good choice on the quests, unlocks ton of items/content

Could probably ask some of the clannies to take you on some pvm trips, or you could join the weekly saturday events if you find it interesting, they do some group bosses on some days.

If it's really been 14 years since you played I'd definitely watch a catch up video.
Quest guide is great start too!
If you haven't heard of Runelite I'd recommend downloading this too. It's an open source OSRS client that even the J Mods use. provides so many quality of life changes to the regular client.
Anyway welcome and hope you settle in well!

Hello! Didn't realize I'd missed this until we started chatting on Discord. Don't really have anything too useful to add that the others haven't already covered, but I'd be down to try some Corp or God Wars once you get comfortable/have the necessary stats. Both of those are pretty accessible so long as you have a decent group to get you started. Aside from that, it's not like we've got any shortage of real PVMers in CC, so you shouldn't have much trouble learning at some point down the line

What type of game play are you aiming for? Like are you trying to level up to go bossing like a beast, max out, or accomplish some rare feat?
