A Progression Thread

Decided to make a forum thread since I noticed I have been taking a lot more screenshots of my journey as a new ironman (btw).

Also when I started the iron I removed almost everything related to the main account, seeing 5gb worth of photos of just about every level, every drop, every raid, etc... I felt like it wasn't necessary to keep those pictures. (Plus I'm only playing on my laptop and needed to save space lol, also turned off automatic screenshots by Runelite since the start of the account.) It had a nice feeling though, scrolling through those pictures. I remembered the early days of my account, first Fire cape, first Barrows run, first Zulrah kill, first COX raid.

Anyways, will just be posting random but meaningful stuff to me. I would like to keep it clean and minimalistic as possible, so it'll just be a bunch of milestone levels, 99's, drops, pets, and first time things.

-Play vanilla as much as possible. (Except for stuff like clue solvers and menu entry swappers)
-Prayer flicking till my hands fall off. (Never really liked it on main since unlimited prayer pots, so didn't really bother to learn)
-There's always room for improvement.

Also would like to make a special place for my HC back then.

Isn't much, but I'm proud since it was my first one. Might make another one after going for afk grinds on main now.

and the day I died, went to kill Zulrah for diary after that I teleported out and afked, probably went to the bathroom or grabbed water or something. Came back and was just destroyed about losing status.

Had Runelite screenshot automatically capture deaths, good thing I had that on. Only remembered it a week later lol.

Hey Rick, thanks for checking out the thread.

Currently just grinding out construction, probably just gonna get 82 for now and then boost to get everything. Very motivated to cross out one of the short-term goals.

Just got 82 construction, already built all of the essentials except for ornate pool which I need 83 herb to boost for anti-venoms and was able to remove most of my portal chambers. Which was a lot.



Also finished hard desert diary to make my unfinished potions, still need a lot of secondaries tho.




Gonna do my first secondary farming tomorrow which should take me to 75 to 82 herb at the moment, gonna be doing a lot of farm runs while I farm for seconds.



Not gonna be crossing out max house just yet, gonna probably make it decent looking too first lol.

RIP HC chcn, but it appears that you got many great goals while you were a HC. Glad you've kept your motivation to maintain your account, would hate to feel that you felt it was all for nothing. that is an impressive herb stack, hope it rakes in the xp and resources you need!

Hey eoinc, thanks for checking out the thread.

Yeah, still having lots of fun on the iron, I'm glad that I died tho, made me not scared of actually doing dangerous content now and actually play the game without any worries. But yeah, actually dreading to log in today cause I know I'll have to farm seconds today.

Gonna be researching on how to do these things at this moment.

Little update, still doing the herblore grind. Currently at lvl 81 w 100k xp left to 82 so hoping I get 83 by the end of next week and finally build my pool.


Also just hit 100m total experience.



and after my black demon task I got 83 slayer and instantly got a spiritual creature task so I went to grind for dragon boots, got my first one at around 90 kc I think. So I hoped to get another one for clues and ended up with 3.  


Also first short-term goal crossed out of the list.

Congrats on the 100m xp. I've since blocked Spiritual Creatures, but I've killed 500 Spiritual Mages and got 0 dragon boot drops

Thanks for checking out the thread Involus! Yeah, definitely a good feeling on the ironman, pretty excited what 200m would look like soon. Never thought I would reach this kind of level on this game mode, I never really imagined playing ironman back then

Thanks Rick, yeah gonna definitely skip spiritual creatures now that i've got the two that I need. It was my first time actually killing those so I went around and looked at reddit posts regarding them and some people have gone insane dry looking for them so I was a bit scared of staying there for so long.

Huge update! Finally got my 4th zenyte, also under the drop rate. Pretty happy that I can block them now, I enjoyed doing them tho.
