Vesp's UIM progress thread!

I figured I would make one of these like I have in the past for my other accounts and goals so if people wanted to they can see how I am doing on my UIM!

The path I took on this account was a semi standard / just winged it approach.

-Got 43 prayer right away by picking up big bones in wild and running them to the alter to sacrifice
-Got a lot of the easy beginner quests done
-Got to 33 magic using curse and bind and all that to use telegrab so i had an easy way to make games necklaces while keeping hp low
-Grinded out graceful
-Used any supplies I had
-Grinded out rouges outfit while i had 0 inventory
-Got druidic ritual done and got to 12 hp
-Went to WDT solo until 20 games/84 fm and wasnt having fun so I left
-Did the member starter guide quests, waterfall, witches house, tree gnome, etc
-Just started to do various skills quests and diaries to get my account to where it is today

Current stats:



145 quest points. Some of the notable/annoying quests I have done: One Small Favor, Underground Pass/Regicide, Fremmy trials/isles, all f2p done, got fairy rings, heroes quest, 3 council members saved in RFD.

145 QP and still no climbing boots? Also is the neck slot empty for games necklaces? I know crafting/cooking aren't on that list but if you get to 60 cooking you can make mushroom pie to boost crafting for a ruby amulet, you have the level to enchant for an amulet of strength.

I had the boots and lost them somewhere. Have them back now and it's mainly for games necklaces as I have been using that tele a ton (my last one just broke) working on con eventually to get the basic jewelry box. Good idea on the str ammy

Even the basic jewelry box requires 81 con, that's gonna take a while on a UIM, you should be able to get a mounted glory beforehand (47 con + 80 craft or 83 hunt). Are you continuining with birdhouses past your level 29 goal?

I will do birdhouses when I remember feel like getting the seeds and such. Just gotta not be lazy. Might break from my current goal to grind gp and con and craft lvls

Good luck with your goals! I couldn't imagine playing a UIM. However, Runescape is a game, so if you find UIM mode fun, go all out on it I'm really glad Jagex decided to add the Ironman modes into the game. I'm really enjoying my regular ironman. Your account is coming along nicely

Solid progress and interesting to see your goals and how you have to map things out a certain way. Will be watching to see how you do as I have 0 idea what goes on with UIM, still think you're a madman for picking it up, good luck to you Vesp

Got some gear upgrades going for the haunted mine as the boss is kicking my butt. Getting Death to the Dorg done now to use the two long bones I got on the d def grind

Are you trying to melee Treus Dayth? Range is a lot easier.

Its been a bit but here is a quick update. All easy diaries have been completed, up to 164 quest points, and here is my current stats and list i made working towards mory hard diary/general order to do things with some extra stuff added from the original list!

Gear is the same as I've just been questing and skilling and not a huge change in my bag/inv but here they are.
P.S I have gotten piety unlocked! (Once I hit 70 prayer)

Good luck on your goals! UIM is a fun way to play the game, and it's always nice seeing other people take on the challenge. I'm still pretty new to the community but I have a decent amount of UIM experience, so feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions or need a tip or two good luck with the grind!

Its been awhile since I posted an update. Took a break from the game but getting back into it. Biggest achievement since I last posted is getting mm1 done and monkey part of rfd is done so that d scim is mine. Inching closer to getting desert treasure finished. Got over 1400 total now after a variety of skilling. Working on some slayer to get my combats up along with some passive herb xp with the drops. Going to thieve some master farms soonish to try and get some herb seeds as well. Here are some screenshots of what I'm working with atm
