Chambers of Xeric Learner Raids Hosted by TurtleWurdle: Information and Requirements

Hi fellow clannies, you may know me as the turtle guy that does learner raids for the cc. Based on feedback I figured making a thread with basic information and expectations to help streamline the learner process. To come on a turtle learner please do the following:

1) Read this thread
2) Join the clan discord (https://discord.gg/osrsadvice)
3) Be willing to join discord voice chats (you can be muted for learner raids, but must be able to listen)
4) Direct message me on discord or post in this thread with screenshots of your stats, gear setup/inventory with your character at the Chambers bank, in game name, and time zone/desired time you would want to do a learner raid. See requirements in the later posts. This ensures you know how to gear and know how to get to the raid lobby.
5) Abide by all clan rules.
6) Have fun and stay positive.

Turtle learner raids are done upon request and will be scheduled once you meet the above 6 requirements.

I am Pacific Standard Time, weekdays I can host learners in the evening (server CC time 3:00-8:00). Weekends I'm a bit more flexible with times.

Once you join the clan discord you can receive the COX or COXLearner roles under request role. This will ping you when people are looking to raid or hosting learners.

The image will show the world, the clan chat the raid is in, and the layout pre olm. Note learner raids will normally be hosted outside the main cc because if the cc is full, non-smileys can be kicked from the raid.

Drops/Splits (Copied from the clan discord):

Regarding splitting & scamming:
All drops that take place within this discord are to be split with your team unless:
It is specified as an FFA beforehand.
The group drop is <1m split to each person.
The drop is the onyx from Tekton or an arcane scroll.
The person receiving the drop is an ironman. Ironmen are considered FFA by default - they aren't required to split, and you don't have to split with an iron's alt.

What is Chambers of Xeric?

Also known as COX or Raids 1, Chambers comes in normal difficulty mode and challenge mode. This thread covers the normal difficulty mode, which randomly generates a linear layout from 8 combat rooms and 4 puzzle rooms. Every raid ends with a boss fight with the Great Olm.

How to get to Chambers of Xeric:

The Chambers of Xeric are located on Mount Quidamortem, which can be quickly accessed via the Lovakengj Minecart Network. This will require the player to bring a minecart control scroll from Miriam and bring it to Stuliette on the mountain. Doing so requires the player to have earned 65% Lovakengj favour.

Otherwise, players will need to head to the Shayziens' Wall and make their way west to Mount Quidamortem; be wary of aggressive lizardmen and lizardmen brutes. For those arriving there without the mine cart system, speak to the Mountain Guide (who is located on the mountain next to Gnosi, Historian Duffy, and the Natural Historian) before leaving; doing so will establish a two-way transportation system between the mountain and the Shayziens' Wall.

Once players receive an ancient tablet as a reward from the Chambers of Xeric, they are able to use it on Xeric's talisman to instantly teleport to the mountain.

Gear and Stat Requirements

Raiding is endgame content so you are expected to meet the following requirements:

Stats:

80+ Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, Ranged, Hitpoints
70+ Prayer with Piety unlocked

The following exceptions will be allowed:
Bandos Godsword if you cannot afford one.

Ironmen: If you do not have a Bandos Godsword, Occult Necklace, Blowpipe, or Toxic Trident, you are still allowed to come.

The following items are only needed in particular pre-Olm rooms. Do not bring them on raids without these bosses.
Dragon Sword (Vasa Nistirio)
Pickaxe (Guardians)
Zamorak Godsword (Muttadiles)
Ice Barrage (Muttadiles)
Sanfew Serum (Shamans and Vespula)
Dragon crossbow/Rune crossbow (Shamans, Vespula)
Salve (ei) (Skeletal Mystics)
Fire Surge + Tome of Fire (Ice Demon)
