I have been in the cc for a few weeks now and figured id join the offsite as well. Have bounced around a few clans the last while but OSRS Advice definitely seems to be a step above the rest. Really enjoying my time on the cc and discord.

I started my rs career back in 2003/2004 and ended up leaving around when free trade was removed. I picked up the game again around 2017 and played for less than a year. At the time I was working on the quest cape and was around combat level 90 before i burnt out and put the game down.

With covid and a surplus of WFH time i somehow found myself back in Gielinor late summer. I told myself i'd just finish off the quest cape and move on.... but here we are.

I am working away on slayer currently and trying to get up to base 90 combat and 1800 total. Hopefully will be joining a few more of the bossing events / raids when i do. Big shout out to the team who runs the OSRS collection log as well - having a lot of fun with all the clues scrolls and hunting uniques.

Maybe you missed your confirmation email? I don't see that account on our list, for whatever reason.

And yeah, I've stuck around a lot longer than I expected myself. Don't exactly recall what goals I had coming back, if any, but I've definitely exceeded them by now. Being part of a community is nice incentive to stay active, especially if you're into the events and such.

Found your first account in my admin logs, says your email on that one was either typed wrong or rejected our system's confirmation email for one reason or another.

No worries at all though, I've removed that inactive account so the name should be available again!

Just click "Profile" at the top:



Then type your new name in the box at the top, next to "Username":




Then just scroll to the bottom and hit "Save":





And you should be good to go!

In your case, your current name should already be in that Username field, and you should be able to just remove the last 2 at the end. Let me know if you run into any issues!

Hi Odin! Have seen ya in-game a bit, welcome to the offsite! When I took a break 5 years ago I think I had base 70 stats and 1800 total as a goal before I stopped playing. When I came back in October I finished that off and have made some good progress since A good community for sure keeps you around.

Don't feel like you need super high combat stats do join our events! Our weekly Saturday events hosted by @This Land are open to all and he does a great job of explaining the boss for those who are inexperienced. It's always a lot of fun TurtleWurdle also hosts learning COX raids upon request, so long as you're able to listen in on Discord voice chat (you can be muted if you choose)

It's nice to see you chose to join the offsite as well and make it official.
I hung around awhile just like you did and eventually came to the decision that the people that comprise this clan are very knowledgeable, forgiving, as well as friendly. I hope you find your time here harmonic and that you can come to view the individuals in the clan as friends and maybe even in the long run family.

Hey Odin, I'm surprised you're newer to the clan, I feel like you've been around for a long time! How close are you to the quest cape? Just finished mine (which was my original goal) and got the music cape as well.
