Announcement: While CML has served us well in the past for SotW, with the next competition we will be making the switch to wiseoldman.net. It's an awesome site so take a look around at player tracking and competitions, and feel free to let us know any feedback! Thanks

Skill of the week is our clan's take on the challenge to earn as much exp as possible in a designated skill in that week!

The idea is to have some friendly competition between you and your clanmates over that week's skill. Hopefully this will add a bit of motivation into your grinds!

Everyone who has made an introductory post is welcome to participate - whether you're just starting runescape or are nearly maxed - all levels are welcome!

The competition winners each week will be those who have gained the most XP in the selected skill. This will be based on total XP gained, not EHP.

The skill each week will be chosen by you all! You can pick a skill that you need extra motivation to train, or just whatever you're currently working on.

A poll will be done every week in the #skill-of-the-week channel on Discord. In order to prevent repetitiveness, a skill may not be reselected until it has been 2 months since it was last picked.

The event will be held every other week.

Prizes for the event will be as follows:

All prize info can be found in the clan discord, inside of the #skill-of-the-week channel.

Discord prizes:

• Podium count will be recorded in the clan #Hall of Fame
  
• 2 podiums and you will receive the @Skill of the Week Veteran in the clan Discord server for being a SOTW champion.
  
• 6 podiums and you will receive the @Skill of the Week Champion role AND can pick your own role color.
  

Offsite Prizes:

• 4 podiums and you will receive a forum pet of your choosing (the image underneath your profile info when you make a post).
  

These prizes of course are in addition to the amazing feeling of accomplishment from beating your clannies

The event will start at in-game 'reset time', 00:00 UTC and end exactly 7 days after.

The skill for this week's event, the start and finish time, and the competition link can be found in the clan discord, inside of the #skill-of-the-week channel.

To sign up for the event: Reply to this thread with your RSN and you will be added to the competition.

You only need to add yourself once - replying here will then automatically add you to all future SOTW competitions.

If you signed up in a previous SOTW thread, you are still added to the competition.

We will try to keep track of RSN changes, but if you want to be sure you're still added, please add your new username to the thread if you change.

There have been a couple of changes in the team, as Bing has stepped down so I will be taking his place and spearheading the event. A huge thank you goes out to Bing for running this event for almost a year! You helped make it into a competition that almost 300 people signed up for and enjoyed competing in!
