Ahoy there
Hello there osrs Advician,
I never been good with introduction so i'll keep it simple...
i did play rs before, (pre-eoc), i left mainly due to the eoc update and the micro transaction focus
the game was taking, never 'maxed' a account as in all the skill...
back then i was in a player killing clan
(main reason why im recreating a 'pure' account at the moment hoping to get back into it soon enough)
I couldn't tell how many hours i have put into the game but ( from memory) i played for around 5 years back then.
At the moment my main goal is to find way to upkeep membership with bond (any advice welcomed)
But enough with the runescape background,
irl wise the name is Math (yea... by the way sorry for possible mistake main language is french)
always been a gamer and probably always will be haha even with child running around...

Re: Ahoy there
Hey, welcome. Thought I recognized your name, but it turns out we had a member a while back with a rather similar one https://www.osrsadvice.com/u2008 Interesting coincidence.
I quit RS3 way before the microtransactions took over, but they did ensure I'd have no desire to go back. I've heard it's good on an ironman, but that's not really my thing anyway.
We don't have many PKers in the CC, but there are a scant few. I know @Communizer has been trying to find other pures to tussle with Could hit him up at some point. Might be worth checking out Last Man Standing if you're in need of practice (and want to tri-brid, of course). If you haven't done any PVP in years, you'll probably be glad for the refresher.
See ya in the CC, and feel free to check out our Discord server, if you like.

Re: Ahoy there
Hey CelticArrows,
Welcome to the clan and offsite! I saw you in game just a bit ago - nice to see you found our offsite so quick =)
I was in the same shoes as yourself and like many others, stopped playing rs once EOC went live. Best of luck on your pure account build. I've personally never had one, but I get why they appeal to so many. I'm not sure of the best ways to up-keep bonds, but a recent member of our clans seems to be having great success with hunting red chins. If you don't mind hunter, would be cool to check that out! Otherwise, I do know some pures that do barrows. Might be worth a shot if you enjoy it.
We have lots of players that someone manage to balance out work life, gaming, and have kids... I honestly don't know how they do it, but props to you as well for pulling that off.
Catch you in game!

Heya Celtic and welcome
If you plan to find a method of upkeeping bonds, look into Herb Runs, after 30 you can easily get 100-200k profit per Run depending on herbs/risk you will take. They take 80min to grow, so if you maybe do 5/day, thats easily 500k-1m, and since you have 14 days to earn a bond, it should be doable

Re: Ahoy there
Hi CelticArrows,
Like you, I've played RuneScape for awhile - since 2006 for me and continuing when it transitioned into RS3/EOC. I started playing OSRS around the time it was released on mobile though not very often until the last few months.
I'm fairly new to the clan but in the time I've been here everyone has been friendly and helpful. It's a great clan to be part of. Welcome.
