Ded Della's introduction
Hi guys! My name is Ded Della in the clan chat cc. I have been an avid runescape player for years and actually spent a great amount of time in the osrs advice clan on my main account and past ironman accounts. I have lost interest in the game over the past few months but recently i've enjoyed hardcore ironman mode and look forward to slowly building my account. I'm just taking things a day at a time. I seem to enjoy the game the most that way. I look forward to chatting with other members in the cc while we all make our own gains in game and will try to contribute and answer any questions I can. Happy runescaping <3

Yo Della! Good to see you on the offsite. Welcome!
Glad to hear that your hardcore has revitalized your desire to play! Can definitely see why the high stakes would appeal to some people, although knowing me I'd just end up a nervous wreck, lmao. Personally not really into the idea of an ironman myself, but I might try Group Ironman when it comes out (if I can find enough friends). You figure you'd start another hardcore right away if the current one got killed, or would it be time for another extended break? Anyway, best of luck keeping that red helm, and I hope you're able to stay motivated.
And if you're interested in being active in other ways, go have a gander at our Discord server. Got a dedicated advice channel on there, and I'm certain any help you're able to offer would be appreciated
Looking forward to chatting. See ya around.

Hey Della,
Glad to see you on the offsite bud! Always nice to see a fellow ironman player in the chat. I played on a normie for a while, but decided to take a leap of faith and try out ironman mode... and I couldn't have been happier! Don't ever see myself playing a normie account anymore tbh, but we'll see what happens. I personally have never played on a hardcore, but who knows, maybe I'll make one if I ever max out this account =p. I just started the CoX phase on this account - main drops I'm going for are a Dex and Arcane scroll right now. Those would be very nice buffs to my account!
There are quite a few ironmen in the cc that are way over my head and can provide a wealth of knowledge on the mode if you have any questions, but I'm happy to chat whenever about the gamemode. Ironman can get overwhelming at times to me but in this clan chat, it seems as if we truly do not have to "stand alone" - always tons of people around to provide support and make the grind a little easier.
Catch you in the cc my dude!

Re: Ded Della's introduction
Welcome to the offsite Della, that's definitely a good strategy to go by, currently just doing what I want, when I want, even though I have goals, I'm not forcing myself to do them, I burn out rather quickly when I do that, I'm only back to osrs after about a 6 month break myself from burn out, good luck with your account and happy scaping.
Hope to meet you in game or in cc

Re: Ded Della's introduction
Hi Della! Like you, I've played RuneScape for years - since 2006 for me. I've played off and on since then. I started playing OSRS around the time it was released on mobile, though other than occasional skilling I mostly play on PC.
Like you, I also enjoy the game more when I take things a day at a time. I'm not in a rush to reach any levels or accomplish any goals and I'm having fun just doing whatever I feel like doing at the moment.
Good luck on building your hardcore ironman account.

Hey Della, welcome to OSRS Advice
Great to see you're finding enjoyment with the HCIM game mode. Have you got any short or long-term goals that you currently have mind for the account?
I completely echo your feeling that sometimes, because most of us have been around as players for a long, long time, the game can sometimes lost that 'sparkle' and it can be tricky to log on and both stay focused or have fun with whatever you're doing. Everything we have on offer here is completely optional so you can pick and choose what you participate in, but some of the events might be of interest and also help to ensure that feeling of 'losing interest' doesn't slowly creep back in.
Skill of the Week and Boss of the Week were two that came to mind. They run on alternate weeks and involve clannies voting for a skill or boss that then become either the 'skill' or 'boss' of the week. Everyone then battles it out to obtain either the highest amount of experience or kill count gained during that week, where the top 3 (sometimes 4) winners win some GP prizes and the pride of being the victor! Like I said, these and all other events are optional - but I love recommending these as they're an awesome way to potentially do something in-game you wouldn't usually do!
All that's left for me to say is another warm welcome. PM is always on if you need anything too so never hesitate in sending me a message. Until then, take care, stay safe and I look forward to hopefully chatting more when we're both online
Best,
Mitch
