Cerberus tips and tricks
Ok first off I just want to apologize for my editing, I don't write on forums too often but I really thought this would benefit a few people. So I'm gonna give it a crack.
This isn't a full guide it's sort of a supplementary to guides that have been written or created by other players. These are just small tips and tricks I've learnt whilst doing Cerberus which have helped me improve my trip length significantly.
So let's get started. My first tip here is quite simple, but not something alot of people seem to pick up on. Cerberus uses her triple attack (mage, range, melee) once every ten attacks, so that's attack number 1,11,21 and 31 if you get that far, which hopefully you don't. Protecting from this attack correctly may not seem like much, but it actually extends your trips quite significantly.
Tip number two is that Cerberus will cast her "grrr" special attack in combination with the ghosts if she is under 200 health, this can stack you out quite easily if you don't get the pray switch right and are standing under a pool. The way to avoid this is to click away at least 2 tiles from the tile you are currently on just before the first ghost launches. Sometimes you will get a bit unlucky and land on a second lava pool, but as long as your prayer switches are top notch you should be right.
My third tip is quite simple, and that is use an SGS. I normally use the spec when I'm around 29 prayer so that I have just enough for when the ghosts come (granted you have a spectral shield).
When I was starting Cerberus the most annoying thing I'd find was trying to burst her down quickly so that she wouldn't spawn 2 sets of ghosts (or sometimes even three ) so I could save my precious prayer potions. However I could never manage to do so, on the rare occasion would I only get one set of ghosts and it frustrated the heck out of me. So my final tip is probably the most useful one and that is how to get just one set of ghosts to spawn. During the first 30 seconds of the fight you need to keep Cerberus above 400 hp, she will not spawn ghosts during this time unless she drops below that during the first 30 seconds. The best way I find to do this is to use Guthan's for her first 7 attacks, then as soon as her 7th attack is over I switch to my dps gear. The reason I use Guthan's is because 1) it heals you 2)it does relatively low dps and 3) because it has half decent defensive stats. Sometimes you will hack away and your guthans will be heading toward hitting more than the 200 damage during the first 30s. When this happens I simply put my bandos and spectral on, and wait for the seventh attack.
Quick edit: She will use her ghost attack every 14th attack. Unless she is under 400 health before the 7th attack then she'll use ghosts on the seventh.
I really hope this little post helped, I'll update it with a few pictures if everyone thinks that would help.
Good luck on the prim crystals and hellpup's, if anyone wants any clarification on anything please let me know

Hey man,
I appreciate this post! I will definitely be referring back to it a few times. About to hit 91 slayer
Could you think of a good substitute for the SGS? Unfortunately, I don't have one as of now.

Re: Cerberus tips and tricks
For efficiency, SGS is the only thing I can think of.
I tried out ancient mace every now and then it would hit a 25+, but most of the time it was 0s. For a weapon that takes 100% spec it just isn't worth it.
If you don't have much money I'd honestly say a dds is probably your best bet.
