Hello Everyone I am Baztral in game. I started playing this game 2 weeks ago for the first time at the request of a friend and during these boring quarantine times it has been a really fun and interesting experience. There is a LOT to do in this game and that's just of the things that I know of, so I am excited to find out what lies in store.

Hey Baztral, not only is it nice to welcome you officially to the clan but it's also awesome to officially welcome you to OSRS!

I've said this before and I'll say it again- whilst it's awesome when we have well seasoned RS/OSRS players join the clan I always think it's extra special welcoming someone brand new to the game I think it's because all of us 'oldies' get to vicariously re-live the feelings and emotions of playing the game with a fresh pair of eyes as you go on your adventures while being a part of our community

Have you got any short or long-term goals you're working towards in-game? I just had a look at your stats and you've made some fantastic progress in 2 weeks, I'm really impressed! We've got a couple of cool events that alternate every week which may be of interest to you, they're both a good way of motivating yourself to embrace areas of the game you might not have had any experience with before, here's some information on them both and links to where you can find out more information / register to take part...

- Boss of the Week (BOTW): Everyone wanting to take part votes on a boss, the winning boss is named 'boss of the week'. Everyone then battles it out over the week to gain the highest amount of kc (kill count), the top 3 highest kc's win GP prizes. - Skill of the Week (SOTW): Follows exactly the same process as boss of the week but, like the name suggests haha, it's a skill that everyone votes to work on and experience gained is tracked rather than kc. Top 3 highest experience gains still win GP prizes! Another quick note from me, due to our recent surge in popularity (I'm sure COVID-19 has a part to play in this) we've slightly changed the way that people get their first smiley rank but hold tight, stay active and I'm sure it'll come round before you even realise! Thank you for the welcome, it's much appreciated. If I had to say there was a long term goal for me, it would be to do some bosses/raids, it seems like a lot of fun. I think my favorite skill to work on is slayer so far, so that's probably why; I've heard from my friend that a lot of those bosses are slayer only or something. As for the smiley, yeah I can imagine how full it's gotten with how many people are indoors. I join the chat and get kicked (understandably due to the situation) quite often. Thanks again for the welcome, I'll be around, probably slaying or questing lol.

Im so excited for you because both OSRS Advice and Old School Runescape are an amazing experience especially if you are dead set on wanting to join the game and play it because runescape can be one huge grind but there's definitely awesome things to do that make the grind and the game itself worth it! Hey Baztral, welcome to the offsite. As ever, it's great to see fresh players picking the game up, even 7 years after release (20, if you really want to nitpick ). Playing with friends just adds to the experience as well. Some of my fondest gaming memories from years past involve all-nighters that I pulled, playing Runescape and chatting on MSN with my friends from school.

As you're already aware, RS has a steep learning curve, and a ton of content. Things aren't always the most intuitive either, so don't hesitate to ask in the clan chat if you need help with something. That's what we're here for

Be seeing you, and best of luck progressing your account! Those first 1000 levels are by far the most fun, if you ask me.
