Hey guys recently I've been working from home and play runescape alongside with the current fishing SOTW its a great way to get through the day. I work for a bank and deal with many customers on a daily basis recently whilst dealing with a customers bank accounts as I was talking to them something quite strange was happening as I we were talking which left myself and the customer quite baffled and wondering how is this happening everything feels so creepy and mysterious. Occurrences such as this one got me thinking about Runescape (cos I was fishing xD) weird and creepy unexplainable things happen all the time and 9/10 times you are unable to explain what the heck just happened.

So...... I thought it would be great to create a fresh thread related to this and here we are so, get your night lights and OSRS ghost stories ready share your creepiest craziest anomalies that may have happened to you or a friend on runescape. Anything goes from something mysterious, straight up creepy or scary .

an old friend of mine was looking to join a nice cc this was years ago and she wasn't aware that there could be straight up weirdos on the internet. She would post youtube videos of her progress on runescape and mini quest guides she didn't have a big following but it was growing slowly.

She told me she joined this cc they weren't quite big there were a decent amount of members in it who weren't that toxic at all. She became quite popular amongst the other members in the cc. Until one day A new subscriber of the name I See You started following her videos and commenting quite often. She didn't take much notice of it and responded to this persons comments as they would post what seemed at the time 'normal' comments.

Then a week or two went back and new members were joining the cc she was in. As she was playing she noticed one member in particular who was being extremely friendly and responding to everything she would do and say in the cc. Another week went by she slowly forgot about this member as she was progressing further in the game.

One day she left her game running whilst she decided to cook dinner for herself. The time was 8:00pm when she got hungry and decided to make something. 15 minutes later at 8:15 she still had the game running and as she sat their she had her dinner and put her dishes away and cleaned up.

When she returned she noticed that her character in game was not standing in the spots original left it at she noticed she was now standing somewhere deep in the wilderness and she was quite baffled as to how she got there as she wasn't somebody who likes PKing or spending much time in the wilderness as she was afraid of other PKers.

As she rotated her camera in game there was completely nobody in sight. Suddenly when she turned her phone on to speak to her friends that she'd would often play runescape with. She noticed her camera roll in her phone was open. A new screenshot had been taken on her phone she didn't recognise what this was when she went onto the picture it was a black picture and at the bottom of the picture there was tiny small white text. The text read "Is This How You Normally Cook Food?" The time the screenshot was taken was at 8:15PM which was at the time she was eating her dinner. She became quite freaked out and felt as though she was being watched. When she rotated her camera in game she noticed another player randomly standing there his username had the words I See You in it and within seconds he disappeared. The girl shut her computer down immediately and since then nobody has heard from her.
