Howdy!
So obviously I'm here to introduce myself. My in game name is exactly the same as my forum name, because I'm not very original.
IRL I do I.T. work for various small and medium companies who can't afford the larger servers that offer the same services. I generally work from home, but sometimes I'm asked to solve physical problems on site too.
In RS I've just recently started to play again, it's been just under a month now. I really don't have any long term goals yet, but I am interested in trying to complete every quest on RS eventually. Right now I'm still getting re-introduced to the game. I know a lot from my previous experience but there's a lot of other content, especially content open to people with higher levels that I'm unfamiliar with.
I originally just logged onto the OSRS Advice discord to get some advice in money making and other little things, but I eventually joined the CC, and now I'm here too. This seems like a very nice community and I think I'd enjoy being a part of it.

Re: Howdy!
Welcome to the offsite, in regards to your ingame name and forum name being the same, it's definitely much better to do that so admins know who you are across the game and forum
You've definitely found a great community of people, always willing to help when they can and very knowledgeable, hopefully you enjoy it here as much as I have the last 6 months.
Just some helpful tips of things we offer:
We host a fortnightly skilling comp called Skill of The Week which you are welcome to join: https://www.osrsadvice.com/t4060-skill-of-the-week
We also host a monthly lotto, be sure to post in this thread, they have some pretty decent prizes: https://www.osrsadvice.com/t4148p80-monthly-clan-lotto-1m-goodybag-december#53592
Great to see you've already found our discord, hopefully catch you around in game or in clan chat

Heya Doc. Better late than never, as far as intros go
Like Meg says, you've found a really great community here. Lots of excellent, knowledgeable people hanging around. It's actually been a bit of a shock for me, going back to other games with more toxic communities. Just goes to show what a great job the mod team does, and how important our lovely regulars really are in keeping the CC a pleasant place to be.
Your work sounds interesting! Being able to work from home like that is something of a dream of mine, although it's not likely to happen at this stage. Ah well!
I hope we've done a good job so far of getting you settled back into the game. The PvM and Skill of the Week events have been great for keeping me invested, personally. Hopefully your luck at DKS earlier hasn't discouraged you from attending in the future
Glad to see you've signed up for Secret Santa, as well. Should be good fun!

Re: Howdy!
Welcome! I think I've seen you around already! I think that is a fantastic goal. Completing all the quests was my first big goal I achieved on my account. Honestly very satisfying to do. Runescape makes some really great quests. Some of the best. You'll have a good time doing them. I certainly did.
Just be careful not to get burnt out. I blew through all the quests insanely fast, then I kind of stopped playing for about a year. I really pushed myself towards the end because I got really excited and it ended up being a mistake. One day I am going to make another account to do all the quests again. If only to just experience the last 60 quest points I got without rushing through everything. And enjoy them.
