Flopcat’s introduction

Hi!

Er... so I’ve kinda been lurking in the clan chat for a couple of weeks now. Which means that some of you might know me already. And it seems pretty okay, so I figured I should bite the metaphorical bullet and sign up for this offsite.

So I’m Flopcat. I first played RuneScape 2 in 2005 or so, quit in 2009, and returned to Old School only just recently. Not that I have anything against RuneScape 3 or anything (aside from my usual hangups about aggressive monetisation in games), it just looked unfamiliar and alien.

Let’s see... I’m prone to rambling for far too long about anime and metal? And my goals in RuneScape pretty much involve doing whatever seems most interesting to me at the time — provided that I don’t get too distracted. For instance, I’m contemplating taking a slight break from Runecrafting so I can get a quest cape. But I also still want the Runecraft cape. It’s an endless dilemma.

Regarding your Runecraft issue, may I recommend the method I used:
Do 1 Quest everytime you get 1 Runecraft level Works as a break so you don't burn out when Runecrafting

Yo Flop! Sorry for the late response. I don't have much to say, if I'm honest. You've been around for a while now, so I don't think I need to say much. It's been nice having you around the past few weeks, at any rate. I've enjoyed seeing you absolutely annihilate your Runecraft goals, too! I'm glad you finally decided to sign up here

Feel free to hit me up if you ever want to ramble about music, also. I enjoy being exposed to new genres/artists, even if they're not my usual cup of tea. My metal tastes don't exactly run the gamut, but I listen to a fair bit.
