Hello from FigaroTheCat

Hello everyone!

I'm FigaroTheCat or Figs for short.
I have been playing OSRS for approximately four years. However, I did take a year and a half break to complete my degree. Just recently started seriously playing again. The game is really lonely without a clan; very happy to have found a welcoming CC

I have mainly always skilled on my account. I want to start learning to PVM more. I may ask noob questions sometimes because the Wiki can be confusing at times. I am not a very social person but will try my best to be more talkative in the CC. I am excited of being a part of a clan.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully make some friends!

Hey Figs! Glad you decided to sign up ! Big congrats on getting your degree! What did you study?

The game does get very lonely without a good group of people to play with. I would have quit a long time ago were it not for this clan. I really hope you enjoy your time here as much as I have.

I've mostly been skilling for the past couple months as well, and am also largely a PVM noob. One of the most important things you need to know about the CC is that asking questions is good! That's exactly what it's here for, and you should never feel bad for trying to learn more about the game.

As for not being social, I totally getcha. I find that I get along with people well, but I'm not much of a talker. When I first joined, I figured I'd sort of lurk in the chat, maybe ask a question every once in a while. But something just clicked for me, and now I absolutely love getting to talk with everybody. I've made a lot of really great friends in my short time here. I've heard similar stories from other members as well, so we're certainly not alone.

If you're looking for a less restricted, more chill environment to hang out/meet new people in, then the Clan Discord server may interest you. It's fairly active throughout the day, and we even hang out in voice chat occasionally. Feel free to come check it out

@Syllabic I got my bachelors in nursing! I'm still taking some classes to get a specialty in neonatal care because I adore caring for sick little babies (I know it's weird), but I really don't like adults or old people lol you'll have to forgive me about saying I'll ask questions. For the past two weeks now, I've been looking for a cc and tried many others before finding this one. All of the other cc's were either extremely rude, it was not active, they were being very childish or would just ignore people they weren't friends with. When I said hello in this one, I immediately knew this was the cc I wanted to be in. Like you said, it's easy to talk with everyone here! I have added the Discord server and also added you , you are friend #2 on my list! The first is my bf but he doesn't count lol I don't have any friends because I never talk to anyone.

@Coldstream yes! We will definitely need to PVM. I'm currently training defense to 90 (at 87 right now) and then I'm getting my mage to 90- that's all I wanted to do before trying PVM. I would love to learn/ try more PVM

@Megnificent thank you for the warm welcome! I am really glad to know it's an active and friendly clan. I have ran into a lot of cc's where even the ranks were just plain rude for no reason. I haven't been in here long at all but the chat is great and I'm already enjoying it- can't wait to be here a lot longer! You'll definitely see me around in the game and definitely in the chat

@Megnificent You just made my night! I have added you Another girl player? No way!!! I have ran into a lot of female characters but most are not actually girls. That is a shame about your husband, this game is a ton of fun! Luckily for me, my boyfriend is the one who introduced me to the game. So he plays at the same time as me but he is a UIM, we can't do too much together because he's crazy and doesn't have a bank lol
