Pidalu's Weekly Events - Everyone Welcome!

Hey!

Every Saturday I'm going to start hosting a PvM event.

The aim is to get everyone involved, including those with ZERO PvM experience.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of levels and gear.

Every event, the loot will be shared evenly.

The next event will be 20:00 - 22:00 (UTC) Saturday 29th February GMT

If the winner is the same as last weeks then second place will win.

Time zones

For all that are confused about finding time zones, please use this link to find your time zone.

The instructions are fairly simple on the link, but please reach out to me if you have any questions about how to use it.

Step 1: Find a UTC time zone: Iceland, Liberia, Guinea ALL WORK, so pick one of those cities. Put one of the cities listed as 'Location 1'
Step 2: Find the city OR state you live in, and put it in as 'Location 2'
Step 3: Press convert locations to UTC.
Step 4: On the next page, scroll down to find the 20:00 (or 8:00 PM) time for UTC time zone.
Step 5: Compare the 20:00 time to your time.
(EXAMPLE: If you live in Colorado, you will see that 20:00 for Pidalu is 14:00 for you as Colorado is 6 hours behind Pidalu) (20:00-6 hours=14:00)

Requirements

Although everyone is welcome to join in... Some bosses have requirements to access them.

Godwars Dungeon: Death pleateau/Troll Stronghold/70 Strength OR Agility
Armadyl: 70 Range
Bandos: 70 Strength
Saradomin: 70 Agility
Zammorak: 70 Hitpoints

I didn't include Mole on the poll unfortunately I figured it would be either hectic with it digging all the time... Or too easy.

I can add it for next week though if you like

Thanks for putting this on Pidalu. We often have newer members wanting to learn bossing & these trips will be very helpful for them (and fun for the more experienced people). I've stickied the thread so more people can see the weekly PVM events

This is a fantastic idea! Well done planning this. It can be pretty difficult actually getting people involved in this kind of thing, so good on you for making it happen. I'm really sorry I had to miss it. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one! I need that bossing experience for sure.

Well, this gives me good reason to stop blowing off my slayer tasks.  I have experience in all of the GWD, Corp, KBD, and KQ from way back in rs2.  I just need something like this so I can start building up my gear.

Thanks for doing this!  I'll be there Sunday unless something comes up (that's 1PM-3PM Pacific time, right?)

What time will the poll be closing? I'll need to scrounge up whatever gear I can cobble together.

This sounds awesome! I'd love to come if I can muster the courage, although I think it's 8am for me which means I'll be at work, I may be able to make next weeks one though as it's a public holiday for me - If I'm feeling brave enough I'll try to make it

aww, sorry I missed this event. I spent the day mostly cleaning, doing school work and making decorations for my little ones upcoming bday. I hope to make the next one though!

Great turnout for Corp event last weekend!

At one point we had around 30 people!!

@Pidalu I just want to reiterate how cool I think this idea is! I'm really glad that you had a good turnout for the Corp event

I'll try my best to make it to the next next event. I don't think CoX is something I'd be able to handle right now

Not sure if I can handle CoX, but I'll try if I have the basic entry reqs.
