I4N INCOMING!

Hey,

My name is I4N, so I've been at this game for as long as I can remember up until EoC withered me away. I was so ecstatic when I heard that one of my favorite games was making it's return! I watched the game develop and grow for about 4 years before I finally decided to dust off my old character and join in on the fun myself. I always kick myself for not starting sooner, although it's better late than never! Anyhow, ever since then I've been slowly building up runescape-me, he's looking pretty good, pretty buff. But he can't fight, hes terrible at it, so my main goal is to teach him how to fight everyone and everything! ʷᶦᵗʰ ˢᵒᵐᵉ ʰᵉˡᵖ

Welcome to the clan I4n! Sounds a lot like me, I started playing osrs quite late after it's release so I'm still trying to catch up, I'm also terrible at fighting stuff, been putting off the big fighty quest bosses as I'm too chicken to attempt them lol I really need to teach my character to fight as well haha

Yo I4N, thanks for the intro. I shouldn't be awake right now, but I decided to stay up and comment on your post because I'm nice like that Wink

(ignore the fact that I can't sleep anyway).

In all seriousness, welcome! I also kick myself for not starting Old School earlier in its lifespan. I created my character last year, but I ended up just feeling lost a lot of the time. By that point there was already tons of added content that I was wholly unfamiliar with, and plenty more from the post-2007 days that didn't make it in. I've been enjoying the game way more since I joined the clan, though. It's chock full of really knowledgeable people, and you can learn so much even by just reading the chat while you play. I'm still not sure that I love the grind like some seem to, but it's at the very least tolerable.

Also, I still suck at fighting too. I've always been more of a skiller, even more so now that I can AFK train while watching Netflix... but I'm trying to break out of my comfort zone a little. We'll both be crushing it in no time okay probably just you

It's a great forum for complaining to near-strangers about your hopeless sleep schedule. And probably other things, but that's all I use it for.

welcome to the clan, and good luck with your goals, and being more adventurous. I seem to find endless excuses not to leave my comfort zone, never enter the wildy or do bosses. I am however always fully occupied and enjoy the game for fun and the company of the great people in this clan, I hope you enjoy it here too.
