Hi all, Pebble checking in

Hi everyone,

I joined Runescape in 2006 and have been playing ever since. I mainly play RS3, but recently my husband and I started accounts on OSRS, to experience some of the old game and try out the new content. We met through Runescape many years ago, and he moved from the UK to the States and we were married. Now we are back in the UK and our main game is still RS You'll see him about - Shef.

In game I've been working through the quest list using the optimal quest guide on wiki, trying for quest cape. At that point, hoping to get back into Slayer and do a bit of bossing. My favourite skills have always been Thieving, Herblore, Slayer (in no particular order, although my first 99 was Thieving years and years ago through Pyramid Plunder).

I am a fashionscape lover and live for anything cosmetic, collecting pets and achievements, and having rare items. My favourite minigame is Barrows and recall *never* getting a Guthan's spear drop pre-EOC when they were worth something! I hope to change that this time around

Other than that, I work in tech and love reading, crafts (knitting, jewelrymaking, decals), and gaming (MMORPG in particular; Diablo; World of Warcraft, etc..).

Hey Pebble! That's one hell of a story. I've heard of people meeting their Significant Others through Runescape, but I can't say I know anyone else that's had that experience. And it's Shef, too! Double cool. We're lucky to have you both.

The Optimal Quest guide is a great resource. I don't care for questing much myself, but it's definitely hugely important. We've got several other members currently competing to see who can achieve one first, so this should make things even more interesting

As for me, I'm pretty hopeless when it comes to fashionscape. I tend to worry about it more in other games (Mordhau and For Honor probably being my favourite), but I've never had much of an eye for it in RS. Barrows is great stuff though! Definitely one of the best parts of the game in my opinion, even after all these years. I'm sending Guthan's RNG your way as we speak.

If you haven't already check it out, I'd suggest peeping the Lottery thread. They host a new one every month, and it's completely free, so you have nothing to lose.

If you have a Discord account (or if you're interested in making one!), feel free to check out the OSRS Advice Discord server. It's pretty bumping most of the time, and we even tend to get people talking in voice chat a few times a week. It's a great way to get to know everyone better.

Great to have you here Pebbles, I sure wish I could get my other half to play Runescape!! I also really enjoying thieving, I got 200m thieving via Plunder back in 2011 and I'm also a big fan of the fashionscape, it's pretty much my whole reason for playing any game lol
