I've been playing RS for about 15 years. 2005 to EOC I played pretty religiously, and I have played RS3 on and off from EOC to 2017. I decided to play OSRS after a friend got me back into it. I'm just a simple dude looking for a great group of people to relearn the game with.
99% of my time on RS I just did dumb noob stuff, like bank stand, go camping in the wilderness, etc. I never did anything efficient. I honestly feel like I have made more progress in the week I started OSRS than I have in 15 years of RS2-RS3 lmao.

I know exactly what you mean when you talk about playing inefficiently when you were younger. I was way more interested in just messing around with my friends than actually making good progress. I'm having a lot of fun with the game now too, don't get me wrong. But it's for completely different reasons. Our group that we have here is definitely a huge part of it. I find myself a lot more motivated to continue progressing with my account when I've got people that I can play with. The friendly competition is nice too. As for bankstanding, though? Still the best content in the game, for my money.

Helps distinguish you a little, and makes you less likely to be kicked from the clan chat if it fills up.

I'd also recommend checking this out: https://www.osrsadvice.com/t3778-monthly-clan-lotto-1m-goodybag-august Just follow the instructions on that page to enter. It's automated, so you should be able to check back pretty much right away to see if you've won anything.

We also have a clan Discord server: https://discord.gg/d7bPnPa It's been super busy the last little while. We've even had people in voice chat almost every night recently. I'd definitely recommend joining, if Discord is something you use. Might even be a good enough reason to make an account if you don't have one already
