Did you enjoy the story?
A jolly, yeet story
Greetings,
I come from a land far, far away... Google.
I basically got bored and figured I’ve never claimed the 1 week OSRS membership trial.
After starting the trial, I had no clue what I could/should do. What can I do as a member? There’s so much. I was lost... alone.
Money came to my mind. Not because greed took over me, but because money is a must to survive in the wild. If I only have a week left, might as well take riches with me to F2P. Or even better: grind for a bond.
It cost me blood and tears, but I knew what had to be done.
I... googled friendly clan chats.
Afterweeks and months minutes of intense searching, there I found the promised land.
People in chat were so nice, so helpful to eachother. I took my chance and asked for advice. I wanted to do Blast Furnace for good low level money. Someone pointed me towards an artifact. A “coal bag” of some sort which would double my riches per hour. I was baffled. A mere artifact boosting profit by two-fold! Insanity...
Another trip to Google, the all knowing. ”The Motherlode Mine” it whispered. A mine full of golden chicken nuggets.
An NPC, meaning “Non-Player Character”, funny guy really. He wanted 100 golden chicken nuggets for his coal bag. I thought “Wow, that’s so easy!”
By the Gods I was wrong! Pay-dirt after pay-dirt. I only found 1 nugget every inventory. Sometimes even none! Why can’t I just use your average straw bag?! I hope the wolves come for that damned NPC!
After hours and hours digging for golden chicken nuggets, I wanted to give up. I wanted to cry. Scream. Throw myPC from the roof phone to the wall. Yea... I don’t have my pc with me so I’m stuck on mobile. I wanted someone to end my suffering.
At the verge of death, an odd entity spoke to me. Was it a deity? A saint? ”What art thee?” I asked bewildered. Whatever it was. It spoke to me. ”You’re doing great! Keep it up!”
I felt a sudden rush go through my body. I knew I could do it. I started digging like there was no tomorrow!
10 nuggets, 20 nuggets, 40 nuggets! I lost count. I must have 60 by now. I could have gotten more but felt like writing this. And yes, I break the 4th wall often.
I don’t plan on quitting. I will get the needed chicken nuggets. Fill that NPC’s belly and receive the artifact “Coal Bag”.
I thank thee, oh dear saint. For you have given me the strength to keep grinding. I thank thee, Pidalu. For you are that saint that has given me the necessary strength.
I have found my home, my family. I have only been here for more than a day and OSRS Advice has already helped me to get back on my feet. I’m not worthy, but I thank thee, Lucido, for hosting your Hide & Seek. For you and the others have already given me the gold required to already buy a new bond. I feel ashamed since it made me feel like a beggar. I promise I’ll repay to the clan byten-fold five-fold one-fold. Damn, I can’t reach that much money, but I’ll repay what I’ve received someday.
To be continued... Probably not, but it adds some dramatic effects.

The moment I entered, I was nervous. Anxious. I lurked in chat to see if the rumors were true. An actual friendly clan. Not like the others; a soulless, empty husk. Re: A jolly, yeet story
This is the clan that keeps on giving, in so many ways, and its always amazing when people write really lovely posts like this, because this clan is not the norm, many of us came via some very dodgy ones........I hope it continues to be your home and give you fun and friendship to make whatever you are doing so much better. Good luck with your goals.........

Re: A jolly, yeet story
Update:
I have finally managed to reach 100 GOLDEN chicken nuggets. I have regained my sanity after hours and hours in that wretched mine.
Just look at that monster lusting after the nuggets.
After such a long time being a slave in that mine... for a coal bag.
Now the journey continues to the BLAST FURNACE.
THE END
