wherearedoge - Introduction

Runescape name: wherearedoge
Account type: f2p, soon to be p2p in a few days
Short term goals: Continue gaining money for a bond, reach 55 magic, cut 1k willows, cut around 10k oaks
Short term mem goals: Ardougne cape, around 20 quests, bond money, Herblore/fletching co
Long term: Herblore, Fishing, Prayer capes
What brings you to RS?: I was playing Path of Exile when my laptop's cpu and gpu ended up dying. I was trying out various mobile games when I came upon this. Eventually I'll move to desktop. Overall I enjoy being able to feel like I'm progressing in something.
Why OSRS Advice: I've been searching for a clan for a bit, and either it hasn't been a good fit (with players being unfriendly) or the clan was closing down/swapping leaderships. I'm mostly looking for a group to just chat with while I focus on goals in game. I'm new to the game, so learning from others is appealing and that's why I'm hopeful this clan will be a better fit.

Fav. Colour: Blue, a lighter blue but not robin's egg blue
Life outside RS: Presently working on moving to Oklahoma from Connecticut, no current employment. The hope is to work for a bookstore out there while volunteering at an animal shelter.
Tea or Coffee: Tea all the way. Coffee is neat on occasion, but it depends on the roasts available. Tea I absolutely love.

Ahh PoE - Good times, good times. Welcome to RS / OSRS, but mainly OSRSAdvice. You'll find a wild variety of members who will enjoy woodcutting with you, among tons of other aspects of the game. Most are very friendly and are willing to being you along on training runs or help with quests. Just don't be afraid to ask!

Most people who join are returning players from years past, it's nice to see some new blood get into the game for the first time. I remember thinking that I was amazing with 30 defense in mithril gear fighting barbarians in the hall south of Edgeville. (Better times than PoE)
