Recommendations for CPU coolers?

I just bought a new computer, it's got an i7 8700, but reaches temps of 70-80 consistently in games with the stock cooler. I know we've got a couple computer wizards in the CC and I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for some aftermarket CPU coolers?

I read that the Noctua NH-D15 and 14 were great coolers, so if anyone's got one of those and can give it a thumbs up or thumbs down that'd be grody to the max

The stock cooler is very limited.

You will see improvements with almost all aftermarket solutions.


Ive always used Corsair Liquid coolers for my builds, though you can probably get the same performance from a Noctua cooler

You need to really give us some details to work with first.

We'll need to know the dimensions you have to fit a cooler, whether or not you've got the ability to fit a watercooling radiator and if so, what size fans are possible.
