Fun Adventures and Progress with HCIM Purple Dude ^_^

I updated my goals on front page!
I added a couple new ones


126 Combat is the place where I wonder how close to max I am, since I will need 98 Prayer for this, and I am somehow convinced Prayer will be the last 99 due to Hardcores having no good Bone Obtaining Methods other than quite litterally farming blue dragons xD But we'll see how far 99 Slayer takes Prayer, but I am curious when in this progress thread I get 126 Combat

The Total Experience tracking is just to compare it with the total lvls, when I got my 3rd 99 I had 92M XP

The last one is a fun one, I was looking through Kaninkas Progress Thread, finding ideas for goals, when I saw that Kaninka had 6x 99s when he had 2000 Total, I remember I made the 2000th Lvl very special, because 99 Runecrafting was litterally the 2000th Lvl ^^
I then thought.. can I beat that 99 amount on Purple Dude by the time I am 2000 Total?
I want to try!
Kaninkas 99s until the 6th was achieved in this order: Agility, Magic, Strength, Farming, Prayer and Runecrafting.
Kaninka had the Grand Exchange though, Magic was bought by Stringing Jewellery, same for Farming, bought magic trees and such, and Prayer I bought the bones. Agility and Runecrafting were the only ones I didn't buy.
Purple Dude currently has Agility, Strength and Firemaking with 1907 Total Lvl, so I got 93 Lvls left to get 4 other 99s. (To beat 6)

So I have been thinking.. which 99s do I want to aim for?
List of Possibilities:
Defense and Attack and Hitpoints and Slayer - The Slayer Route - 36 Total Lvls (Lots of room for Distraction)
Runecrafting and Mining and Fishing and Woodcutting - The Gatherer Route - 87 Total Lvls (Tight Schedule)
Cooking and Crafting and Farming and Thieving - The Almost Buyable Route - 72 Total Lvls (Acceptable)

I can do many routes, I am mostly leaning towards The Slayer Route though, simply because Slayer is the last "Dangerous" activity I would need to do on this account pre-max...
My favourite thing to do in Runescape has always been grinding skills and completing goals, which is why I burned out on Kaninka once he lost access to Lvl up messages.. It is the reason I don't mind taking an extremely long route on my hardcore to do a goal due to having to stay safe, I love the grind!

 

The slayer route for sure profitable, fun and you won’t get bored from doing different tasks. But the total and combat lvl is so weird and different for everyone I have 99 hp, 99 at str def, and prayer 70, magic 70, agility 43, woodcutting and other levels are at 60 ish but many skills I’ve not started yet and I’m at combat lvl 122 I think if I finished prayer I’d be at 126 combat think before I even reach 99 prayer I might have 126. I did the old fashioned way though training on monsters afk and my slayer lvl is 1

Yeh I am for sure leaning towards the Melee Route of Slayer, Ranged and Magic are so annoying to train on an iron after all xD
You can definitely look forward to some fast Slayer Lvls though! With your combat you have access to lots of heavy HP monsters, so your slayer is gonna shoot up!
If you have 99 in all Melee Stats and 98 Prayer you will be 126 Combat But if you made it to 98 Prayer, most choose to just take the last lvl too xD

If I choose the Slayer Route I also have alot of leftover total lvls for other goals, like Ornate Pool and such. So I will probably end up doing that

Goal: Slaying

I got another Kraken task, so I finally picked myself up and grinded the imbued Slayer Helmet.. then did another 800K for the Ardy Elite task


Following that I felt like using my Ensouled Heads for some Prayer Lvls



Had enough heads for 71-75 Prayer, which also got me to 116 Combat

Currently planning to Slay until 90 Defense for the 90+ Melee Stats, it will also bring me 95 HP.. and then I am considering just Slaying until I get tired of it.. aiming for 99 Defense/Attack/Hitpoints currently.. and depending which skill wins SOTW, I may do that too (I hope Woodcutting wins, so I can get 83-90 for Redwoods ^^)

Goal: Training Combat and Slayer

Thieving SOTW is over for me, I completed my goal too
I got Sceptre during the journey, which made it much easier


During the week I also got half way to 99 Farming ^_^


Got my 15th 80+ Skill

Ending the week with the 2nd last room in Pyramid




Now I want to aim for 90 Defense and getting Slayer up

Nice, a sceptre. Are you keeping it for more thieving later on, or using it for the ancient altar in poh?

I plan to use it for 99 Thieving at the very least, but I probably want a 2nd sceptre for the POH Altar.. it is a very useful teleport after all

make sure to flex that 99 thieving cape one of my fave skillcapes!

A bit after that task, I finally reached 100M Experience


Should be getting 91 Slayer soon and now the aim is 99 Defense, 99 Hitpoints and 99 Attack through Slayer.. should be getting 95-96 Slayer with that

Melee only slayer hcim? That range and magic are lagging behind...
Are you going to do Cerberus? Are you doing birdhouses for Hunter between tasks?

Ranged is the only one lagging behind, I get magic xp when bursting Dusties and Jellies.. I will maybe start with Abyss Demons too. 1 Dust Devil task is around 100k xp in Magic, so it adds up.. but yeh Ranged is such an annoying skill to train without Blowpipe

I am bad at doing Birdhouses, I am trying to be better, to get some good Tree Seeds for Farming lol
No plans on doing Cerberus, the upgraded boots aren't THAT good xD

Goal: Slaying!

Actively aiming for 99 Defence at the moment, through Slayer of course, then after 99 Defence I will take a raincheck, see how close I am to 99 Hitpoints and then maybe take that too.
Then I will probably take a small break from combat to prevent a future burn-out, probably get Woodcutting up a bit... and then continue with 99 Attack.
I try to limit my activities alot, to prevent unnecessary lvls, since I want to complete the goal of beating Kaninkas 99s by 2000 total.
I will need 4 more 99s and I have decided on 3 of them: Defence, Hitpoints and Attack.
The last one will EITHER be Magic or Slayer.. It is a toss up which one, since I do most magic through Burst-tasks, and it depends how many of those tasks I get.. So I have no idea if Slayer or Magic will be the 7th 99.. but I know for sure the other one will be the 8th one

I do my clues though, and got a neat little thing too:

8 Lvls to go! I will not be killing Cerberus though, I am perfectly happy with my Dragon Boots


8 more until my 4th 99
