To Be a Staker

My current plan is to go for 99 Strength first, then 99 Attack Then 99 Defence, Then I will sell all of my gear accept my tentacle whip and go stake the Gold, I may or may not get cleaned a few times, which is ok, I'm doing this account purely to stake.
I have been mildly successful staking in RS3 so I was able to swap a decent amount of gold over here in order to build a max melee character and stake over here, I do this because I think staking is fun, losing your gold and rebuilding it is fun, and hitting the jackpot and winning some huge stakes is the best rush I have ever experienced in Runescape, I would not advise anybody to stake if they A. Start to feel like they are becoming addicted to it or B. Do not have much disposable gold/income and just want some fast cash (You will probably lose a lot!!) Staking CAN and WILL ruin your game experience if you do not have the self control required to walk away when the time comes.

I will occasionally post my progress every few levels until I max melee out, and I may or may not train other skills when I'm feeling bored or want to do a few quests, I will be posting progress for those (though I might not do those very much) Once I reach my main goals, I will continue to update progress on Big Wins/Losses in the Arena and maybe give away some gold once I reach a decent amount of wealth.

After I complete my main goals I might train some other stats, I'm not really sure yet. I would like to finish maxing in RS3 before I do anything serious in OSRS (I'm at about 320m total xp there, Gotta tie up the loose ends.)

I decided that I will be leveling Defence a little bit, I am going to attempt to melee Jad soon for a fire cape for the extra damage/exp

This is my one and only Runescape account, I'm mainly a RS3 player nearly maxed over there so I'm expanding a bit into OSRS territory, I already know that meeting these goals will only sprout into new goals for other parts of the game.

Well I made my first attempt last night, made it all the way to Jad and was utterly destroyed by his raw power, I had a miniature panic attack when It actually came down to flicking all 3 protection prayers LOL, But doing all the waves and attempting it helped me learn so for the second run I will be able to conserve more supplies. The fight cave earned me about 60k-70k~ exp between Attack and HP in about an hour so I'd say it isn't too much of a waste to keep trying it until I win. I will try again tonight, hopefully I will have time for 2 attempts, Will post screenshots of the results.
