Don't forget runelite has the bank tags plugin! Makes it way easier to organize the bank

This gave me some encouragement to share my own layout!
Now it is a tiny bit unkempt atm, but you get the general gist of my organization.


Now Im not happy with it all, but I do really love my Consumable, Resources & Herblore tabs. Im also very fond of having Magic/Ranged/Melee split.


A big reason I organize them the way I do is how they show up in Runelite Bank Tags, I use them a lot for different tasks for easy access.

I like to keep my first tab restricted to items which I use a lot for all types of activities, such as clue scrolls, farming, quests, teleportation, etc. - things which can apply to a lot of different things I need to do. Then I keep my other tabs for specific activities, skills, etc. Here's what my first tab looks like:

Thanks for this! I was asking about in the cc if there were a sort option for the bank and apparently you have to do it yourself . I've been questing nonstop so my bank is just full of junk, will definitely try sorting it out like this!

Ironically, I had considered rehauling my bank due to some recent in-game additions messing up the order I have my bank (e.g., making birdhouses you need a chisel and hammer, both of which are in two separate tabs) and haven't been quite sure how to go about it. I definitely gave some good ideas!

Keep in mind that the majority of the silly little things in this tab were collected pre-GE with the intended purpose to make questing a little less tedious. Nevertheless, here's another potential idea for folks that I've always found I like with my first tab specifically (my pre-EOC bank tab was set up similarly):



Money and food in the first tab for easy access, enchanted rings/necklaces to make teleportation tab a little less messy (given some enchanted jewelry isn't teleportation-related, but it's still enchanted jewelry, so figured why not make it in its own tab to avoid confusion?), and the tedious items that quests typically need you to randomly have that, pre-GE, were painstaking to have to go gather before the quest itself.

I got sick of seeing 816/816 so after getting my Achievement Diaries complete I've done some cleaning.

Here's my bank after 300hrs on this account. started good but I got alittle lazy.

Thanks for these tips! I've always thought my bank was a mess and took forever to find things like a rope.... Now I've organised it a bit because I saw this topic and thought that I could rather do it quickly than in a couple weeks/monts when my entire bank would be doubled or tripled with trash .
