So I decide to make this topic due to the hour long conversation we had in the CC today.

Rules of the Thread:

So I will start this off, my top 5 are as follows:

Kanye West
reason for Kanye:
1. Best produced Albums
2. Albums tell a story for every moment of his life
3. All the albums flow into each other
4. Amazing features
Mac Miller
reason for Mac Miller:
1. High Energy
2. Reminds me of my high school/college days
3. Lyrics are above average for the most part
Snoop Dogg (not snoop lion we will forget that ever happened)
reason for Snoop Dogg:
1. He's an OG in the game and IS still very much relvant to today when it comes to music (where you been at JayZ, Dre, Ice Cube, yall been sleep'n on us)
2. Pop Culture Icon
3. lyrics are great in older albums, better than most in newer albums
4. Amazing features
5. Came out during the golden age of hip hop
6. Paved the way for other artists like Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller just to name a few
Kendrick Lamar
reason for Kendrick:
1. Best Lyrist for today's day and age
2. Albums tell a story for what it's like to live in Compton during the late 90's early through the 2000's
3. Tracks are RAW (look at "Keisha's Song" from section 80)
4. Amazing features which spun off other great artist (school boy q is the best example)
Travis Scott
reason for Travis:
1. Well produced Albums
2. Pops at Clubs
3. the ladies love'm
4. He's a future you can understand and will be the NBT to hit the air waves IMHO
